Business Development and Investor Relations

SifoTEK AS, Stavanger

On the way to growing and striving to achieve our ambitious goals, SifoTEK® is seeking a dedicated Business Development and Investors Relations who will work full-time in Stavanger, Norway. You will have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with an experienced management team that is responsible for creating the appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics, and for providing a very compelling investor relations roadmap.

Main Responsibilities

a) Business Development

  • Design and implement a strategic business development plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Identify and research potential clients, build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients, make and give presentations to them and internal executives
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts and be fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

b) Investors Relation

  • Attract the interest of potential investors, VCs, and related companies.
  • Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value.
  • Work with a company plan to achieve a successful deal according to the development and financial plan.
  • Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties, satisfying all parties’ expectations.
  • Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and anything else that could impact the business.
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters.

Experience and competence

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field, preferably a master’s degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development and/or dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the clients and investors community.
  • Strong understanding of related laws, regulations, requirements
  • A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills
  • Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented, client-minded focus.
  • Has superb written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages for inspiring employees and investors
  • The professional working language in both English and Norwegian.
