Milk, traditionally produced from cows, is now being produced by SifoTeK using yeast—a feat seemingly improbable, yet achievable. The yeast utilized for this innovative process shares its ancestry with the strains employed thousands of years ago in brewery production. Yeast, a minute microorganism, boasts rapid growth capabilities owing to its simplistic cellular structure. Through the application of microbiological techniques, SifoTeK's technology team has successfully imbued yeast with the functionality to produce milk. This breakthrough involves the incorporation of cow milk-producing traits into yeast.

Sustainable cow-identical milk

Our milk is not only identical to cow's milk but even better, as we refrain from using antibiotics or being affected by any animal sickness. We haven't altered the milk itself, but rather the process of producing it, making it more sustainable and environmentally friendly. This has led to significant reductions, including a 91% decrease in CO2 emissions, 77% in energy usage, 93% in water consumption, and 89% in land utilization.

The uses of sustainable cow-identical milk are diverse, spanning across various products such as cheese, yogurt, ice cream, mixed café beverages, chocolate, bakery items, sports nutrition, and beyond.

Furthermore, it serves as an excellent option for vegan products or for individuals with lactose intolerance. Moreover, it addresses concerns about cholesterol by containing healthier fats.
